Media activities
Media activities got a fresh impetus since 1997 as the members of CWF started contributing special feature articles, stories and poems during Christmas and Easter in local newspapers. In addition remarkable success has been achieved as reports of different events and happenings in the Christian community are being published through the efforts of the Secretary of CWF. Special efforts have been made to get Christmas specials published every year.

City Cable
City Cable telecast the first Christian poet’s meet that very year. It is the fond hope of CWF that the venture will inspire numerous others to adopt novel ways and methods to spread the message of the Gospel through such meets.

Sunil Samuel’s CD
Sunil Samuel’s CD, a collection of melodious hymns about our lord from his birth till resurrection was released by Bishop P. C. Singh at Sunil Samuel’s residence in Ghamapur on September 29, 2004. Rev. P. B. Lal lighted the lamp and led the prayers. Sunil Samuel, Madhu Samuel, Smriti George and Julius Prasad welcomed the invitees. One of the Good Friday hymns in the CD sung by Abhas Joshi, student of class IX, Christ Church Boys’ School was highly praised. Others present in the function were: Mrs. Usha Francis, Joseph Baptist, Daisy Anthony, R. M. Sahayam, Sanjay Mathews, Teresa Rodrigues, D. R. Kripa and Francis Joseph.

Disciple Church Centenary Celebrations
Disciple Church Centenary Celebrations culminated on February 16, 2006. Rev. Joel V. Mal, Moderator, CNI New Delhi, Bishop P. C. Singh, CNI diocese of Jabalpur and Mrs. L. B. Lobo, MLA graced the occasion. Along with solemn worship a cultural programme was organized. At the thanks giving service held in November 2006, Brother S. R. Manohar delivered the homily. The event was reported live by the CWF through the print and electronic media.
